Frequently Asked Questions

Product search

You can search for products in two ways:

1) Select an application (for instance, ‘medical’) and a list of subcategories will be shown. Select one of the subcategories.

Or:

2) Use our advanced search engine and search by keyword, for example Volt / Watt / base /brand / ANSI code / OEM number /product references / cross references / ……

When you have selected a product, refine your choice by using the ‘Refine’ categories on the left side of the screen.

Product information and data (specification sheets)

When you have selected a product, click on it and a new screen will open, showing technical information, picture, data sheet (PDF with specifications), cross references for the product and pricing. 

Shipping costs (worldwide)

A) The webshop will calculate the shipping costs for you.

1) Select your products

2) Go to ‘MyCart’

3) In ‘Shipping/Handling’, enter your delivery address: City / Postcode / Country

4) Click on ‘update’

5) Continue checking out. 

 

 B) If you already have an account with us, simply log in and select the products you want.

Delivery time

We have  thousands of special bulbs and other lighting products in stock. When you select a product, the stock level and expected delivery time is shown.

A) Products available from stock:

Products that we have in stock are usually shipped the next working day after receipt of the order and the payment.

B) Products (or quantities of products) that are not available from stock:

After receipt of the order, an estimated delivery date will be given.

Log in to your account and click on ‘Order status’, then ‘Details’. Your account will show the current status of your order. Please check your account regularly.

Proflamps cooperates with first-class manufacturers and selected suppliers worldwide. We rely on their service and production capacity to deliver your orders as quickly as possible. 

Payment methods

Before submitting your order, make sure you have chosen the right payment currency.

VAT exemption - Companies based in the EU can apply for VAT exemption

How can I apply ?

After you have created an account with us, send you VAT number to info@proflamps.com

We will check your VAT number on the VIES site of the European Commission for VAT number validation.

When your VAT number has been validated, we will adjust your account accordingly and confirm this by email.

You will then be able to complete your order and pay without VAT being added to the invoice.

Prices

All prices shown on proflamps.com are per unit, VAT not included and ex works.

You can select your payment currency. Prices can be shown in GBP / USD / EURO / CNY.

Currency exchange rates are updated several times a day.

No order charges or extra costs for handling

Proflamps.com does not charge extra for small orders. There are no handling or order charges

Order Status - How can I follow the status of my order?

After submitting your order and paying for it, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

To follow your order online, log in to your account and click on ‘Order Status’, then ‘Details’.

Your account will show the current status of your order. Please check your account regularly.

Invoice – Where can I find a copy of my invoice?

When you have paid for your order, an invoice will appear in your account. Log in to your account and click on

‘Order status’, then ‘Invoice’. You can now print your invoice.

Tracking - How can I track my delivery?

When your order has been packed, a tracking number will appear in your account.

To track your delivery, log in to your account and click on ‘Order Status’.

Then click on link -   tracking number. This will take you to the courier’s tracking page, where you’ll see your order’s delivery status.

Delivery outside the EU

For shipments outside the EU, we will send a copy of the invoice to the selected courier/forwarder for customs clearance. Any charges such as import duty or local customs clearance must be paid by the receiver of the goods.

Proflamps cannot be held responsible for any delay due to local customs clearance procedures.
